This month Gerda has kindly given us "Spring Bunny Friends' to create with. I decided to get out my Prismacolor pencils. I have not worked much with these and I am still learning To complicate the matter I also used kraft paper to print the image on. You can find this digital stamp here https://gsd-stamps.com/products/spring-bunny-friends
Congratulations Outlawz Challenges and a big thank you to all the ladies who run this fantastic group. I can't imagine what you do behind the scenes to keep this challenge group going each year. Also a big thank you to Andrea Norris from SheepSki Designs for the freebie to celebrate this milestone. https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/SheepSkiDesigns. Here is my project with the image "Sunflowers". I have created 2 ATCs. Hope you like them. I think ATCs are my new addiction, gee I have a lot of those addictions when it comes to crafting.
This image is perfect for a baby card, but today I have made a small card that I could use for inspiration for a special little girl, who might need a bit of encouragement. I Love this image Lizzy created and it is available here https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/573450402/digital-stamp-instant-download-cute?ref=shop_home_active_60. It comes with a bow version too, now don't ask me why I didn't use that version as I was making a girl card. My answer is because when I printed it, I wasn't sure what I was making - I just knew I wanted to do something with "Newborn Unicorn", just didn't know what, then the Copic colours came to mind, my favourite purple, and we went along from there. The sentiment is from an Australian supplier and is perfect for inspirational purposes.
Hey and don't forget my discount code when you are over on the Oddball Etsy shop
I will be entering the following with this card:
When I saw this image, I knew I just had to create with it. I love owl images and this is so cute, cute, cute. That word cute has popped up quite a bit this month with Oddballers. I hope you like my inspiration, a smaller card than usual, hey, but who cares, I get a bit bored with the same size all the time.
This month's progressive image is a lovely digi "Wild Rose" from one of my favourite digital artists, Beccy's Place, an Aussie company too, which makes it even better. This month I have attempted colouring with Prismacolors on Kraft, still learning.
I am back again with another fantastic Oddball image. I told you working with Oddball Stamps was going to broaden my horizons. Well this time I have used digital stamps on a scrapbook page. This is a FIRST for me! Even though I have been buying digital stamps for quite a few years now, sorry to my large collection of other stamps, and this is the first time I have thought to use them on a page. Well I could not resist; when I saw Dino Girl Jumping on the Bed, dressed in that dinosaur costume, I thought straight away of my youngest grand-daughter Isla-May. She is 3 next month and is the cutest, so that fits in with Oddball's theme this month! I had four photos to work with because I didn't want to leave any out. I wanted something clean and simple, so no bling! This is the result:
This kid absolutely loves dinosaurs and can even tell you all the specie names of the dinosaurs. Her Mum and Dad, as well as Verity and Mac have taught her well and her speech is so clear when telling you the names; I can't even pronounce some of them. Her favourite is a pachyrhinosaurus! It's worth Googling just to see what she is on about!
Looking for a great older male digi, look no further. Ericraft Stamps has a beauty called "Retired" but no need to just use it for a retired gentleman. This stamp would be great for a birthday card, a father's day card, grandfather card or just a lovely card to tell an older gentleman you are thinking of him. I have coloured "Retired" with Copics and I am so happy the way the lounge chair came up, a fluke really, but happy with it.
I hope you will check out Erica's Etsy shop for this digi, as it is on special at the moment at a great price. You won't get a digi any cheaper and while you are in her shop check out some others that are at a bargain price. Her new releases are on special for a short time and if you are lucky, you might find the odd older one on special too.
We have made some changes to Scrapper's Delights in 2018 and have introduced a Special Deals fortnight every month, where the DT will showcase their choice of image and Janice will put that digi on special for that time. My choice this month was Baby Unicorn.
I have made another magnetic bookmark, however, this time I have laminated it to protect it a bit more. I will be giving it to my nine year old grand-daughter Verity. She loves cats, her family has 3 and she loves reading, she is a real "Cat Girl". I am happy with my improved bookmark and I hope she is too. This is the inside where I have put the magnets.
I hope you like my inspiration for "Winter Crystal" and grab this freebie while you can. Don't forget you can enter this digi or any Scrapper's Delights image in February's album https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.1323117327789010&type=3 to be in the running for some Random Acts of Kindness and all we ask is that you spread the word about our Freebie, album entry and discount available on new releases. Thanks for dropping by.
