World Elephant Day

 In honour of World Elephant Day, 12th September, I decided to make an elephant card for Bugaboo Stamps "Humour Me Wednesday" over at Catch the Bug Blog Challenges.  I found it hard to find a really funny quote, but I thought this one was very appropriate for Jodie's image Critter Balloons - Elephant

Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps

Time for another Friday Freebie at Bugaboo Stamps shop!  Drumroll - it is

chickz - happy birdday chickie

For my inspiration I printed two copies of the image and some digital paper in my stash.  It is hard to tell by the photo but I cut out the hands, the nose and gullet, the headpiece, presents, cake and balloons and raised them with foam tape which managed to make the whole image pop.

Now don't forget if you want this image for free, you only have a week before it reverts back to the usual price.

Anything But a Card

I love making ATCs and for our Monday inspiration over at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog - Anything But a Card (ABAC) I have this one to show you.

 

As I have told you before I love Stella and I have this ATC in mind for a special friend who happens to love her coffee.

I have used Stella Peeker - Magical Substance . The sentiment comes with the digi, but I added the arrow and a few more words.

Bugaboo Friday Freebie 17th April 2020

This week's Friday Freebie is BUGBEE03 bugaboo bee 03 and she is the cutest you have ever seen.

I hope you don't miss out on her, well she looks like a girl to me, so cute.

Bug Bee is really suited to some Tiddlyinks Bee You digital paper I have used as a background. I am not sure if it is still available.  I also used a SU punch for the stem of the wooden daisy with ladybug which I have had in my stash for a very, very long time lol.

I am really happy how this card came out and I thought it would be perfect to send to a friend that you haven't seen because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Bugaboo Stamps Friday Freebie 25th October 2019

This week's Friday Freebie is "Scarecrow".

I have made an ATC card for myself with this one.  Last year I got into ATCs and did some swapping for a while.  Now I usually just make one for myself here and when I saw this stamp, I thought I could do a set of seasons.  I also remembered I had another Bugaboo scarecrow image in my collection, so I worked that into the ATC too.

Bugaboo Stamps Friday Freebie 11th October 2019

With this week's Friday Freebie, "Have a Spooktacular Day", I have created a treat bag for Halloween.  In Australia I don't do much for Halloween, maybe buy a few lollies in case some of the neighbouring children stop by.

I also like to have some of these bags on hand for my grandchildren.

Bugaboo Stamps Guest DT - October 2019

I am honoured to be a guest DT for Bugaboo Stamps, as a result of my win in their Christmas in July challenge.

The first inspiration I have done is a card for Anything Goes over at Catch the Blog Challenges.

I have worked with Frame It - For You Flower.  What a lovely stamp, and so versatile, could be for any occasion.  Here is my card:

I recently bought this digi when it came out.  Mind you, when I buy,  I really have to scrutinise my stash of Bugaboo.  I have been buying Jodie's digis probably from the time I first got into digis from the old shop, and her new, so I have to regularly check if I have a new one that pops up from the old shop.

 Here is my card:

My card base is pale pink, with designer paper.  I coloured the image with copics and added three resin glitter butterflies purchased from a small Australian business Corbett Creations Wood Veneers.

I have also used a chipboard word from Make It Crafty, another favourite business of mine.

Gingerbread Wishes

I could not wait to play with my "Gingerbread Wishes" set I won on the recent Bugaboo Stamps Christmas in July.  What better way than to challenge myself to Stella's Sketch Challenge on Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.

Bugaboo Stamps - Day 7

The last day of our week long celebration for Christmas in July at Bugaboo Stamps.  I have had a great time stretching myself to complete this seven day challenge.  Thank you Jodie for all the fun and the Friday Freebie, although I already had it in my Bugaboo stash.

Bugaboo Stamps - Day 6

Day 6's theme is something we definitely don't experience in Australia - a White Christmas!

I chose two Bugaboo images to make my scene, AKV Deer and Merry Christmas Tree.  I printed the images on some digital paper, left the tree white and coloured the decorations with atyou Spica glitter pens.

Day 5 and I chose Home Alone.  BugBoySidePeeker reminds me of Macaulay Culkin sneeking around protecting himself and house against two con men.  The quote I have used is from Home Alone.

Bugaboo Stamps - Day 4

Day 4 is Bingo and the movie is Elf.  I chose the diagonal line featuring Pattern Paper, Bugaboo image (of course) and brads or pearls.

I could not go past using this little cutie, Brat Boy Elf Sitter for this card and with his arms like that, I came up with the quote myself.  He sure looks as if he is over Christmas, too much hard work lol.

Bugaboo Stamps - Day 3

Day 3 of the Bugaboo Christmas in July challenge presents us with this challenge.

I chose to make a tag, we all use tags when giving gifts.  The Bugaboo image is AKV Santa Sled because we all know Santa comes to town in his sled.
