Morgan's Artworld Blog Challenge #12

 Welcome to the December Blog Challenge.  This month I am working with the beautiful scene  "Teddy Bear Christmas Scene".  It is a gorgeous scene for the front of a Christmas card.

I have used everyday coloured pencils for this project.  I hope you like it and will be inspired to enter our December Blog Challenge "Anything Goes"

Morgan's ArtWorld #11 Blog Challenge November 2021

 For the inspiration of our #11 Challenge on the Morgan's Blog, I am working with this beautiful image "Firefly Greyscale".  My first creation is an inspirational card using background paper from my digital stash.  I really do need to make a note of these backgrounds when I print them so I remember where they are from.  I printed Firefly over the paper, found a quote and put a bit of bling in the sky too.  You might not be able to see it, but I used some Wink of Stella on the image too. 

The second creation if a page for my Song Lyrics Journal.  I have already started doing pages with other images that remind me of a song and as soon as I saw the name of this image, I thought I remembered a song with Fireflies.  I did the Google search and found the lyrics, hence another page for my journal.  Do you remember the song? I have used a different colour combination for this one and put a bit of digital grass Imagine that Digistamp - I remember that one lol) under and around the image.

Morgans ArtWorld October Blog Challenge #10

 This month's blog challenge is of course "Anything Goes".  This time I am working with the gorgeous digital stamp "Wren".  I just loved the serenity of this image and wanted to find a special quote that fitted it.  I layered the cream square card with designer paper, card and netting under my image and quote before adding the final touch of the chipboard Sing (which has been in my stash for a while just waiting for the right project).  I used Prismacolor pencils to colour this image.

Morgan's ArtWorld July 2021 Blog Challenge

 Welcome to the July challenge #7 at Morgan's Artworld.  As always our Challenges are "Anything Goes".  All challenge rules can be read here.

For my inspiration I have decided to NOT make a card.  If you are like me, you have heaps and heaps of cards that you have made and sometimes you get the inclination to do something different.  Lately I have been buying some digital junk journal kits from various suppliers on Etsy and when I saw "Baby Love" I knew this image just had to be part of my Dragons Journal.

I am thinking some of my digital images will be a great addition for these junk journals.  Here is my inspiration.

I have used coloured pencils to colour the two images and the Junk Journal page is part of Vectoria Designs digital Dragons Junk Journal.

This will be a double page in the junk journal;  not sure how it will look finished yet, but I know I will be doing more pages in the future which will include Morgan's ArtWorld dragons.  I did a search for dragons in the shop and found more I can use.  For this inspiration I also used one of the Dragon Babies which I could not resist buying when I was putting this project together - they are so cute.  Don't forget when you are looking in the shop, check out Sherry's Pick of the Week  and look for the discount code to save on her faves.
