Conie Fong Art & Design GDT

My inspiration for the Conie Fong Facebook Group today is a Christmas card I created using one of my most favourite Christmas digis from Conie called "Purrfect Kitties".

I have used pencils, glitter pens and Kindyglitz.  The base card is gold and I have matted the kitties with red paper.  Everything you need is in this set even the sentiment.  

Don't you agree it is the cutest Christmas digi ever, especially if you are a cat lover like me!

Bugaboo Stamps New Release 17th December 2019

As part of our Christmas Critters Holiday Critter Chaos week,  Christmas Mouse Light has been released.  On the same day we are also having a Tic Tac Toe Challenge.

I have chosen to work with the bottom horizontal row - Tree, Critter and Kraft.  I started with a kraft card base and added a kraft digital paper as well as the new release for my critter and Merry Christmas Tree as my tree.  I love this Christmas tree because it has a built-in sentiment with it (you don't have too much, which is sometimes good). I have raised my little mouse with foam tape.

SheepSki Designs November 2019 Blog Challenge No. 32

This month's theme on the blog challenge is "Christmas is Coming".

I just had to make a Christmas card featuring Santa so I printed off my Rudolph's Mischief, not really sure how I was going to tackle this project.  I coloured both images in Copics, then I chose my design papers.  I know most crafters pick the papers first but I don't always do that, mainly because in my large stash I will find something to suit.

I used a square pearlised base card and design paper and decided to hide Rudolph behind a smaller square.  I came up with the sentiment myself to suit the images.  The chipboard bauble is from Scrapmatts and the doily embellishment is an oldie but a goodie from Charms Creations, unfortunately I don't think Charmane is making these at the moment.

The Outlawz September 2019 Progressive Challenge

This month's progressive challenge digital image is compliments of Imagine That Digistamp, a very generous digital stamp company who always supports The Outlawz Challenges.  Thank you.

Here is my project.  I have used the Bows and Candy Canes paper from Imagine that Digistamp "Flamingo Christmas" and have created a Christmas card with Lorie's Peppermint Mocha image. The sentiment is from Lorie's Mocha set too.  This is a great set as you get 4 Lories with the different seasons Mochas

I hope Imagine that Digistamp doesn't mind but I added a cupcake from Bugaboo Stamps, another great sponsor of The Outlawz Challenges.

SheepSki Designs July 2019 Blog Challenge

This month's Blog Challenge theme is "Early Christmas/Winter"  I have chosen the little winter cuties "Huddle" to work with.  I was looking for a wintry background for my Aussie Christmas in July card and found one on Etsy.  I think it suited my little penguin friends.  Of course, I have coloured the image with Copics and added some chipboard snowflakes coloured in all sorts of mediums to achieve the effect I wanted, a few layers of whatever white I had, finishing with white Wink of Stella.  I hope you like it.

"Unicorn Onesie" by Ericraft Stamps

Well there is a bit of a story to this Christmas card. 

I coloured "Unicorn Onesie" with Copics and I thought I would enhance a little of the lip line on Erica's image. Well I am no artist and it was a complete failure. I wasn't sure what was happening with this creation until I thought of what to do with my botch. I thought what might cause this redness around your mouth at Christmas. . . an addiction to candy canes of course! Well it's possible if you are a sloppy sucker, please friends, work with me here on this scenario! So this is the result - Erica, I promise I won't deface your images again!

Sandra Caldwell Stamps - Second November 2018 release

I just love the second release of Sandra's images for November 2018.  There is such a varied range to choose from, some great Christmas ones, as well as others you could use for any occasion.

Guest DT - Sandra Caldwell's Release 9th November 2018

I am honoured to have been asked by Sandra to be a guest designer in November.  I have always loved Sandra's images and have quite a selection myself, not the 900+ she has in her Etsy shop (I wish), but I am getting there lol!

My inspiration for the November release is a Christmas set using #2481 Santa Kat. I have made a card, gift bag and tag, as well as added Santa Kat to a sticker for a present.

Knitty Kitty Digis - "Wrapped Up Greyhound"

I love this digi and I already know who is going to receive this card for Christmas.  Thank you to Knitty Kitty Digis for creating the perfect image for my greyhound-loving crafty friend, who has given her greyhound a better life than the one they usually have.

Here is my inspiration for the Incy Wincy Designs Blog Challenge for the first Monday in November. SheepSki Designs November Blog Challenge

The theme for the SheepSki Blog #20 Challenge this month is "Anything Christmas".  I chose to work with "Christmas Candle" Image No. 170 available in the Etsy shop.

I worked with the BG Copics for the candle, I love these shades.  I have used a sheet from the Kaisercraft 6 x 6 "Mint Wishes" collection and cut it into 4 sections.  I printed off the images 4 times and layered sections of it to add depth.  I decorated with a paper doily and some sentiments from the same Kaisercraft collection.

Oddball Art Co. Christmas Cards

Well, Oddballs, any celebrations you attended for "Christmas in July" are done and dusted and we are on the downward slide to Christmas 2018 - where did the year go?

Our Oddball theme is "Lost Souls of Innocent Dolls".  Well, ever since I heard that theme, all I could think of  was all the little girls in the world asking Santa for dolls, so I decided to pick out an image that reminded me of a little girl and I came up with
