Reminder Inspiration for SheepSki Designs

 Hey ladies, have you put your creations into SheepSki Designs September Blog Challenge yet?  This month's theme is Use Layers and there is still 10 days left before the challenge closes.

I could not resist printing more of the Mini Orchid silhouette in different colours and doing some simple layered cards.

SheepSki Designs Blog Challenge No. 42

Our theme for September is Use Layers.  I have chosen to have a play with a gorgeous silhouette "Mini Orchid Silhouette Image No. 224.

The square card base is pearl white and I printed the mini orchid on some newsprint digital paper.  The design papers I used are from a 6" x 6" Authentique paper pack called Uncommon (from my large stash - definitely not a new purchase, but I am very happy I am using my stash).  I thought this range suited what I had in mind for the orchid and newsprint.  The sentiment is chipboard from Scrapmatts and I coloured it with a black marker.
