The Outlawz Sketch Challenge 17-30 April 2019

Stuck for a layout for a card, why not take a look at The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge and enter your project as well.

This is my interpretation of this fortnight's sketch, using a digi our team received on a recent Alicia Bel challenge.

The name of the digi is "Hawaiian Dance".  If you want to join in with the fun of Alicia's challenges, join her Facebook Group.

The Outlawz April Progressive Challenge

The Outlawz April 2019 Progressive Challenge image has been donated by Oddball Art Co, available here.  Thank you for this image.  I have made a simple birthday card using an embossing folder, the digi coloured with Copics, sequins and a ribbon to ground the image.

Some Odd Girl

I really enjoyed colouring I-Heart-u-Gwen for the Some Odd Girl 12 days of colouring challenge.  Now it is time to finish the project for a birthday card.  I have kept this simple just using an embossing folder on a white card base.

Cute as a Button April Progressive Facebook Challenge

Cute as Button Tracy Tricera

I have quite a collection of dinosaur digis - whatever my grandchildren like I seem to accumulate.  My 4 year old grand-daughter Isla-May is obsessed with dinosaurs and she could tell you straight away the species of any of them.  This one is so cute.  It is, and no I am not like Isla-May, I have to look it up.  It is https://cuteasabuttonstamps.com/products/digital-digi-stamps-big-eyed-digis-img000212-tracy-tricera-by-francesca-lopez, a triceratops dinosaur, Tracy Tricera for short.

Congratulations on your Wedding Day

Here is a wedding card I made using:

Tiddly Inks Wedding Bells

A Perfect Day chipboard - Scrapmatts

The digital stamp was merged onto https://sparklensprinkle.net/products/digital-papers-floral-surprise-digi4006fs and the sentiment Happily Ever After is from We Are 3

The black and white script design paper and white pearlised card base is from my stash, as well as the chipboard heart I coloured with Copics.

Tiddly Inks Little Mermaids

Thank you to Tiddly Inks for supplying the image for #Challenge 224.  The images are from the Little Valentines Mermaids set, but the two merged mermaids are available as a freebie in the shop
while the challenge is on.

I decided to make a planner pocket page with my image.  I made a 6" x 4" card to fit into a Classic Happy Planner Pocket page.  I created an underwater scene and coloured the mermaids with Copics and attached them with foam tape.  I hope you like it and I hope my friend likes it when I finish the pocket page with other inspiration quotes to put in her Classic Happy Planner.

Some Odd Girl - 12 days of Colouring

Well it's Day 8 of the Some Odd Girl 12 Days of Colouring challenge on the Facebook Group and we have all been colouring like mad women possessed.  In fact, between family life and craft life, I have not had enough time to even show you some of my colouring on the blog.

So today I thought I would share Day 8.  I have used Swoon Dakota, coloured with Copics and fussy cut, then placed on a stencilled background with foam dots.  I stamped the sentiment straight onto the stencilled mat.

If you are not a member of the Some Odd Girl Facebook Group, you should check it out.  Some Odd Girl puts on these fun challenges and you don;t even have to complete a project in the one day.  You only have to show a WIP project with progress made each day and then start a new one.

Some Odd Girl is getting together an ATC swap which I am looking forward to as well, haven't done many of them this year and it could be an ongoing thing, with only one ATC required each swap - EASY!

SheepSki Designs Blog Challenge - "Wings" April 2019

This month's SheepSki Blog Challenge theme is "Wings".  When Andrea first put "Griff" into the shop, I thought, no I could never attempt that.  Well, when this theme came along, I thought face your demons Gail, give it a go.

This is the result - a blank masculine card.  I feel this image is best suited for a masculine card and I will be able to use this as a birthday card, an inspiration card or whatever your heart desires.

I hope you enter our challenge this month.

The Etsy shop is full of images which you could use for this theme, and if you feel like a challenge why don't you choose "Griff" this time, like I did.  If not SheepSki has lots of other winged images to choose from.  Don't forget to use this 10% discount when you are over at the shop.
