Bugaboo Stamps New Release Tuesday

 Today I am featuring KIDZ boy hearts and KIDZ Girl with Heart.  I have used pencils except for the skin which is Copics.  I have made a Valentine's card for my grandchildren to give my daughter.  By the time you read this hopefully I have already posted it to the eldest one with a PS on the back of the envelope saying "Don't let Mum see this yet", with instructions for them to sign the card and give it to her on 14th Feb.

I thought this image would be a great one to add to my index cards and I didn't even have to search for a quote.  The fantastic quote comes with the image.

Bugaboo Stamps New Release Tuesday

This Tuesday's release is Chinese LLL Symbols

I did something different for this image;  I didn't use any markers or pencils, just my computer, printer, scissors, some clip art, a square punch because I could not find my postage stamp punch and two SU stamps.  BUT OF COURSE, the main part was the Chinese Symbols from Bugaboo Stamps.

I have made postcards to send to some local friends I usually see once a week, until the pandemic started.  I still like to put postcards in envelopes so I made a little straight-edged stamp (lol) to decorate that spot.  I don't trust the postal service to deliver postcards that aren't in envelopes;  I think one single piece of paper could get lost anywhere along the journey or caught in a machine and get wrecked (is that a bit cynical of me?).

I printed the front of the postcards on coloured cardstock, but the back with the postcard layout is just on copy paper and I glued the two pieces together on each.

I must mention that I used a Julia Spiri clipart for the cherry blossom branch on both sides and the postcard template is a digital stamp recently released as a limited edition from Unity Stamps.

I love the Chinese symbols and thought they would be perfect to use on a quick note to my friends telling them I miss them and love them.

Bugaboo Stamps New Release 5th November 2019

Wow, is this new release close to my heart.

Bugaboo Brat Diabetic Boy and Bugaboo Brat Diabetic Girl are now available in the Bugaboo Stamps shop.

I chose to work with Diabetic Boy.  This image came out at the perfect time.  My grandson Adam has had Type 1 Diabetes for the whole of his life.  He has struggled with readings up and down, mostly up.

Lately, at 14, he has really been working on stabilising his sugars and is getting good consistent results.

Grandma and Pop are so very proud of him for these efforts and I wanted to give him something to remind him of how important he is in our lives.

I decided to put the image in a frame to keep in his room, to remind him everyday of how special he is, and something to keep the motivation going so he can continue to get good results.

We love you to the moon and back Adam, you are our Super Hero!
