Turner Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop

Hello Blogging Friends!!

Turner Syndrome is a genetic disorder where a female is born with only one X chromosome, instead of two, leaving her with life-long medical issues and learning disabilities. This condition occurs one in 2,500 female births worldwide, but is more common among pregnancies that do not survive to full term. That is why Turner Syndrome Females are considered MIRACLES!

Prize Winners will be announced on February 15, 2020.

Thirty-six caring Sponsors and five DT Members have partnered with us to bring Turner Syndrome Awareness to the Public. For details on how you might win any of these fabulous prizes, please see Lori's TS home page. Thanks for learning About Turner Syndrome

Seven talented and caring designers are offering prizes on their personal blogs as well:

My TS related project is inspired by the TSA official color board:

This is the front of my square card.  I have used grape purple cardstock and used a couple of square dies to cut out the front of the card and the designer paper, exposing "Bubble Dreams", a SheepSki Designs image available in Andrea's Etsy shop. The chipboard butterfly and sentiment was from my stash.  I think it was a Scrap FX chipboard that I have had in my stash for years just waiting for the perfect project.  I painted the chipboard with a lime green sparkle pen and added an oval sentiment supplied by Lori.

I decided to embellish the inside of the card too.  I added Flutterby butterflies from SheepSki Designs (free on the SheepSki Designs Blog Challenge website, just look for the Freebies tab), patterned paper and another oval sentiment from Lori.  The hearts, extra bubbles and the Butterfly Kisses ticket, I found by searching my digi stash.

I hope you like my card and visit the other volunteers' blogs to participate in this Hop.  Our sponsors have been wonderful too, supporting Lori with prizes for participants.

Turners Syndrome is a terrible thing to happen to a girl and I was shocked to read this on Lori's Blog.

There are many things I did not know about Turners Syndrome.  Just head over to My Turner Syndrome Journey and leave me a comment  telling me what you have learnt about TS that you didn't know.

Please visit the "It's A Girl Thing" Turner Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop 2020  page to become eligible for prizes.

Good luck and thank you for visiting my blog.
