Bugaboo Stamps Friday Freebie

This week's freebie is a Stella stamp, Whoopee, as you know I love Stella!

My inspiration is in the way of an index card for my collection.  I have a box I am putting all these index cards in and I will be able to look back at some of the quotes I find that tickle my fancy.  In the case of Stella's quotes, I will use hers.

Anything But a Card

I love making ATCs and for our Monday inspiration over at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog - Anything But a Card (ABAC) I have this one to show you.

 

As I have told you before I love Stella and I have this ATC in mind for a special friend who happens to love her coffee.

I have used Stella Peeker - Magical Substance . The sentiment comes with the digi, but I added the arrow and a few more words.

Humour Me!

For Humour Me Wednesday this week, I decided to work with my fave, Stella and to make a card I could send to someone in these times we are living in at the moment.  Stay safe, stay home and drink!
Did I say that, sorry, didn't mean that.  And guess what, 19th April was Hanging Out Day, what a day to celebrate this, we hung out at home last week and before that, again this week, and we will continue to hang out at home for quite a while yet I suspect.  So let's celebrate Hanging Out Day with a drink or two.  Oh no, everyone reading my blog will think I have a problem:  getting back to my card, I have used Stella Tidbits - I Believe.

Here is my creation:

I hope when you are at home and maybe working on your cards, you make time to come up with some funny cards, cards you can use to maybe drop a line to someone you have not been able to have a coffee with, someone you usually dine with from time to time or someone you catch up with at the movies every month or so.  We are all missing our friends in these times, so why not drop a card in the mail to them instead, just so they know you are still thinking of them.

Bugaboo Stamps - Anything but a Card Monday Inspiration

Hey there,

When I saw this image appear in the shop, "Stella Me and My Cat Talk",  I just knew I had to add it to my personal ATC Collection.  In case you are new to my blog, I must tell you I love cat images and seeing I talk to my cat Emmie about EVERYTHING, I thought the caption on this image was purr-fect.

This is Emmie when she was little, sitting on a lounge chair used for my bear collection.

I love Stella too:  purr-fect combination of two things I love!

Bugaboo Stamps Frame it - Stella and Gus - person to annoy

I have a very good friend who is celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary. Well, I think I have mentioned before, I just love Bugaboo Stella images, so her card just had to have Stella and Gus make an appearance.  I made the card with the basics of what I wanted to use.  It had to have some gold on it for 50 years and I just wanted something clean and simple to showcase Stella and Gus.  I was just about to add some bling, when I thought I would check out the Bugaboo challenges, over at http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com.au/.  There I spotted the Bingo challenge and thought what have we here:

I already have blue,  I can do player's choice and ribbon .......... hang on, as a friend pointed out, you have the Bugaboo image so you could go the middle line, I had the choice of two.  I looked at my alternatives, a gold bow, a vintage button or a flair button.  I think I will go with the flair button, it was gold and it had the word Together on it, perfect for an anniversary card and it flowed on so well with the sentiment I made up;  so here is the final product.  I hope you like it and I hope Gale and Colin like it.

Bugaboo Stamps "Santa Called"

I love Bugaboo's Stella stamps and when I saw this one coloured by someone on Facebook, I just knew I had to source it.  I knew it was a Bugaboo image, but I couldn't find it on the website.  After emailing Jodie, I found out it was one she had not transferred over from the old site and she put it on the new site straightaway.  What a great sentiment comes with it!

Bugaboo Stamps - Stella CRS

I chose this digi to enter the Kit and Clowder 15000 member party "Crayon Challenge.  I love Stella, this one is a bit naughty, but a great sentiment for forgetting a birthday.  The crayons were easy to use on the big spaces like the letters, but not so on the hair, but Alyce is trying to teach us not to be a perfectionist with all we do, hence the challenge.  Most entrants just submitted their coloured images, but I could not resist turning mine into this card.
