Sandra Caldwell Stamps - 1st Digi Release Day for June 2019

I am so excited to be doing a Guest spot with Sandra Caldwell again.  I love her digis and this month there is so many I will be buying to add to my rather huge collection lol.  I chose to work with
 #2916 Birthday Fun.

You can never have enough birthday cards on hand, right.

#2916 Birthday Fun is available at babycakesdnd Etsy Shop.  While you are there check out the other new releases.

Thanks for letting me show you my inspiration for Sandra's latest release and don't forget she has some other great digis in the Etsy shop and her Zibbet store as well.  If you are like me, you won't stop at just one.

I would like to thank Sandra for giving me the opportunity to help her wonderful Design Team showcase the June releases.  Yes, I said releases, so come back later in the month and you will see more inspiration for the second release, more great images from the talented Sandra Caldwell.

Clean and Simple

AAA Cards CAS Challenge has a Weekend Workout on at the moment and the challenge was to create a card using only a sentiment.

This was the criteria:

Can you create a CAS card using just a sentiment?

It can be stamped, stencilled, handwritten, computer generated or die cut, but there must be nothing else on your card. Background patterns or papers allowed, but no images. Remember to stay CAS!

Tough - but you can do it!

Add your cards here and show us what you can do.

This is a just for fun event.

I splattered some watered down paint onto the card base with smothering completely.  Happy Birthday is a SU die and I cut it twice, and layered one on top of the other, with the top one slightly to the right, exposing the bottom layer.

I have put my card in AAA Cards CAS Challenge page on Facebook.

Come join this group and also check out their Blog Challenge site.

Ericraft Stamps "Be Seated"

Have you checked out the EricraftShop over at Etsy lately?

Here is some inspiration for one of the latest digis "Be Seated"  and guess what it is still at the newly released price.  Grab it now, before the price changes.

My card base is a square pearlised white, with some designer paper in my stash, as well as grey/white twine, a Martha Stewart heart punch and red sequins of course.  I coloured the image with Copics.

Don't forget Ericraft Stamps also has a Facebook Group.  Stop by and see us sometime.

Thank you for stopping by, see you again.

"Gaming Dude"

This month at SheepSki Designs we are featuring the theme "For the Kidz" in our Blog Challenge.  I have been playing with "Gamer Dude" available in the SheepSki Etsy shop.

I decided to make a birthday card with this image for my grandson Adam, who is turning 13 in October - this digi is very appropriate for him!

I didn't have anything to suit this card in my stash, not even paper, although there could be some buried somewhere I have forgotten about, you know what it is like.  When in doubt GOOGLE, which I did and found this background.  I coloured Adam (Gamer Dude) with Copics putting some stripes on his top. I also cropped the image to get just the gaming consoles (hope that is what you call them, not into it myself).  I printed three of each of the three and used foam tape to add an extra one of each to the image and used 2 each of the consoles to put on the side.

I hope Adam likes his card, but I hope he doesn't see it before his birthday.

Don't forget to check out out September Challenge over on the SheepSki blog. Just look for the post for Challenge 18  with the theme "For the Kidz".

Don't forget if you are over at our Etsy shop looking for a digi for this theme, you can use this code to get 10% off your order.
