Gecko Galz Christmas Image Challenge

 The image this month was a cute little Christmas robin.  I printed the image twice and cut the blue from one and foam mounted the bird on top of the bottom one.  I decided to make a decorative tag maybe to use on a Christmas scrapbook page when I get back into scrapbooking.  The base tag is a die, then a Gecko Galz tag from Holiday Tag Time Craft Kit  I made the bird image a pocket and put in a few Gecko Galz Ho Ho Ho collage images and finished it with a couple of punches - leaves and candy stick.

Beccy's Place September Blog Challenge

For my entry in this month's challenge I chose to work with the Dancing Queen  digital Set .  This will be a birthday card for a friend who I have not seen since lockdown.  A group of us normally get together every three months for a catch-up, but we had to postpone this.  Hopefully we can plan something before Christmas.  Her birthday is in October and I can't see us organising anything before then, so this card will go in the mail.  She has had a bit of a rough trot this year, so I hope this card reminds her that she is a fabulous friend.

 I did spray some mists on the pink designer paper but I overdid it a bit for the size of the card, so I changed my mind and added the doily to the paper to make the background a subtle look.

Fripperies & Butterflies September Image Blog Challenge

 Absolutely love this image, so I had to make something for myself to keep. 

 I started off with the bottom half of a Darkroom Door tin that used to be for DD stamp sets.  I managed to get a few when they were swapping to plastic containers.  Then for the first time I printed on rice paper, then put some netting over the rice paper. the layers consist of cardboard to lift the matting up a bit, designer paper, cardstock and then the beautiful image, thanks to Fripperies & Butterflies.  I used Alchemy Wax in three different colours for the metal and the flower as well as a Pink Paislee Artisan heart piece of chipboard.

 This month the progressive image was Halloween Pal Witchelly.  Halloween is not really big in our family, it is not an Australian tradition, especially when we are in lockdown.  However, I still adore cute little witches.  I have entered this card in the Stampers Delight Fans Facebook Group progressive challenge.

Gecko Galz Image Blog challenge - September 2021

 

This is the image offered for the September Blog challenge.  I changed the colour in Publisher and mounted it on a sheet from the  GG Victorian Christmas Paper pack. and added embellishments and a sentiment.

Never More Designs September Image challenge

This is my entry for the Never More Designs September Image Blog challenge.  I have added a microphone to the stick being held by the skeleton and if you are lucky you will see a couple of bones over the writing on the left hand side of the image.  The digital music paper is from my digital files and the quote I found through a Google search.

SheepSki Designs Facebook Group September Challenge

 It is time for another challenge in our Facebook Group and the optional twist is "I spy ...B".  I love butterflies, so this was a good time to start my junk journal on butterflies.  Here is my first page using Butterfly Girl.

For this junk journal I have chosen The Butterfly Printable Journal Kit from Red Dot Books.  I decided to colour this image in autumn colours mostly with gold pencil added in.  I printed the image on the page and adjusted it so the background paper can be seen.  I used pencils and a couple of glitter pens for the flower tattoo on her face. I found I only needed to colour lightly to get the effect I wanted.  I found the quote online and added a metal butterfly and chipboard Believe.

Altenew Paint-a-Flower stamp set

 Today I am working with my Altenew Paint-a-Flower Lotus Outline stamp set.  Last year I bought one of these, but it didn't flower.  I am hoping it will this year, but at least the stamp is showing a beautiful flower.  This stamp set has quite a few sentiments with it to choose from and I decided to use Miss U and Friend - a perfect card to send to a friend when we are in lockdown, like NOW.

GDT for Conie Fong Art & Design September 2021

 Here is some inspiration for Conie Fong Art & Design.  Did you know Conie has two challenges each month on her Facebook Group.  There is a colouring challenge and a finished project challenge each month.  

It is never too early to get started on your Christmas cards and Conie's Etsy shop has beautiful Christmas images.  Today I have used "Christmas Carole" One thing I can say about the images, they are so easy to colour.  I often sit down of a night and  use everyday coloured pencils or Prismacolor pencils just to relax myself.

I have used a white card base, designer paper from SU, a couple of punches and foam tape to make this card.  How easy is that?

I hope you grab come of Conie's images, she often has discounts and specials.  There is one on now with a 25% discount and new releases are usually on sale when they first come out.

Sandra Caldwell Stamps 1st Release September 2021

 Sandra has excelled herself with this release.  The theme of this release is centred around Thanksgiving and Halloween.  I am showcasing "Sliced Turkey" but as we don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia, I decided to make it a Be Thankful of yourself card.  Here is my inspiration #3358 Sliced Turkey by Sandra Caldwell available in the Etsy shop from the first day of release.

Conie Fong and Art Design Facebook Group Project Challenge

 Conie;s September challenge is underway at the Facebook Group page.

As GDT again this month, here is my inspiration for the Challenge.

I have used a pastel green square card, designer paper from my stash, red cardstock, green bling and a flair.  Isn't "Santa's Little Helper" the cutest.  He is available in Conie's Etsy shop and is great value with the Santa sack and at the moment there is a 25% discount so don't miss out on that because I am not too sure how long it will last.

Conie Fong Art Facebook Group September Colouring Challenge

 My inspiration for Conie's Facebook Group September colouring challenge is "Sunflower Bouquet".  Don't forget you only have to submit a colouring for this challenge - easy peasy.

You can enter just a colouring now and in a month or two enter the same coloured image into the Project Album.  No stress at all there!  You just can't enter a colouring and a project with the same coloured image in the same month.  How laid back is that - my type of challenge!

Morgan's ArtWorld September Blog Challenge #9

For September's Challenge inspiration I have used Growing Teddy 1.  I decided to put the image on a Centre Step card to accentuate it.  I coloured the image with pencils and used a vintage coloured  mat behind it.  I used washi tape down the two sides and decorated it with resin flowers.  I found the quote on the internet - just perfect for the image.

SheepSki Designs "Boys and Girls Come Out to Play"

 September's optional twist for our SheepSki Designs Blog Challenge is "Boys and Girls Come Out to Play".  For my inspiration I have created a card using "The Bots".

For the background I have used a KennyK digital background called "City Buildings".  I have coloured my images with everyday coloured pencils and used three hearts on the side of the black pearl cardstock.
