Thank you to Tory Tale for gifting Sweet Kisses to members for this challenge. As something new I have used my family of cats stamp and I have not used the background paper before. I love cats!

Scrapper's Delights Thrifty Thursday 5th January 2017
Welcome to our first challenge for 2017. Head over to Scrappers Delights* https://www.facebook.com/groups/376140345820051/ and request your January Progressive Freebie, the lovely Lily Pad and then check out http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=89 to see what image might be suitable for the lily pad. You have lots to choose from as the pad is so versatile and Janice has a great sale on at the moment as a thank you for her Facebook Group reaching the 3000 member mark. What an achievement! The image I have used came from Fantasy Folk section http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=89_90&products_id=392 but I am sure when looking you might find a frog, a fairy, a princess or maybe something else that will feel quite at home on that lily pad. Don't forget to take advantage of the sale - it's a beauty. By the way I forgot to mention my card is an easel card and I am using the resin alphas to hold the card in place. If you are interested drop me a line and I can let you know the Etsy shop I purchase them from. https://www.facebook.com/gail.hutchinson.9. Thank you for looking at my card and I hope I have inspired you to get cracking on those lily pad creations. Bye for now.
I will be entering the following challenges with my creation:

Scrapper's Delights Freebie Friday - 25th November 2016
This fortnight's Freebie Friday image is Xmas Draco 2 http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=89_97&products_id=352
What a fantastic Christmas image to get stuck into your Christmas cards with. In my inspiration I have resized the tree decorations making the round bauble the background for Draco, making the appearance that he is in the bauble. I have made use of the other two bauble designs and put them on either side of him and of course the sentiment comes with the download too. Great value even if you don't get a chance to get him for free in the progressive challenge. If you do a search on Draco in the store you will find another 2 Christmas Draco image packages, lots of value for your money as well as some other cute Draco images. Draco is so cute and such a good buy with other extras added. Check out this search on the store website http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=Draco&x=0&y=0
Thank you for joining me this fortnight and I hope Draco gives you lots of ideas to get your Christmas Card list completed.

Scrapper's Delights Friday Freebie Progressive Challenge - 28th October2016
When I saw this Freebie Friday Progressive image, I immediately thought the clothing reminded me of Star Wars, so I put my thinking cap on. Our DT Twist for this image was Monochromatic, so I chose the W family in the Copics. I then searched the Scrapper's Delights store to look for some ideas and came up with some Space sentiments - perfect. http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=17&products_id=548
This range was just what I wanted, a few embellishments plus some sentiments and it was on special, even better. Why don't you check out the store http://scrappersdelights.com/store/
You too might come up with a theme for your progressive challenge and find some little sentiment or embellishment in our store that jogs your creative brain to produce something spectacular for our challenge and don't forget to add your entry to our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/376140345820051/

Gerda Steiner Designs Progressive Challenge October 2016
Oh no I have made a monumental blog/progressive challenge blooper. It appears this did not make the linkup for the progressive challenge so I have entered it in Gerda's mid month October challenge. I can't remember if I had a problem linking and meant to go back to it and didn't or just completely missed it after setting it up on my blog.
Don't you just love this "Little Hedgehog". Thank you Gerda Steiner Designs for this image for the progressive challenge.
Outlawz Progressive Challenge - October 2016
What a fun image to work with. Thank you to Gerda Steiner Designs for making "Juggling Tiger"
available to our Progressive members this month.
A Day for Daisies Anything Halloweeny Goes
My first entry in A Day for Daisies challenge. Halloween always stumps me, as when my kids were little we didn't really celebrate. I think they may have gone trick or treating once or twice, but now it is becoming very popular in Australia with shops overflowing with many Halloween items.

14 October 2016
Scrapper's Delights Freebie Friday - 14th October 2016
This fortnight's image is the Halloween version of Honey Anime, she is such a cutie, even as a Halloween character. Halloween has never been a thing in my household, but each year the shops in Australia seem to expand on what they have to offer, so I guess it may be just as popular here as other countries. Certainly when my children were young, it was not a big thing. Anyhow back to my card. Our twist on the Design Team for this image, was purple or green hair. I could not decide, and with purple being one of my favourite colours, I opted for both. This card is my first ever Halloween creation. I hope you like it and will join in with our challenge.
If you are looking for Halloween papers or elements to use on your cards as I did you can find these on the website in the Halloween section. I used the Halloween freebie sentiment, one of the papers and the skulls were part of the Halloween props set. The papers and props are on special at the moment so pop over and get a bargain. http://scrappersdelights.com/store/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=halloween&x=0&y=0
