Arty Divas Challenges July 2022

Bizzy Bec's Mid-July inspiration

 I could not wait to have a go at my new purchase from Bizzy Bec's.  I had it on pre-order and it arrived quicker than I thought.  I was a bit daunted by the size when I first got it, but the cuteness overtook any apprehension I had.  

I won't keep you in suspense any longer.  I purchased some of the Art Expressions matchbook collection.

They are the cutest.  I purchased the Matchbooks envelope dies, Matchbooks Template dies, Matchbooks Stamp and Die set - Garden and being a cat lover had to grab the Cat Accessories Stamp and die set.

I must admit I wondered where to start, then I decided to check out the Art Impressions You Tube videos on Matchbooks .  I watched it until I got the gist then I jumped right in and here is the result.

These matchbooks and envelopes are the cutest.  I hope you will check them out in the shop, I do think they could become a bit addictive and such a cute little gift to add to a card.  All you have to do is openthe little envelope and fluff up the matchbook when you open it and there you have it - a cute little scene.

Bizzy Bec's July Blog Challenge

 It's time again for the Bizzy Bec's "Anything Goes" Blog Challenge.  It's July and what do we think of then - Christmas in July.  I have made a Christmas card featuring "Little Santa with Letter".

I received my order from Bizzy Bec's a couple of days ago.  I sort of went a bit berserk in the Sale, so I decided to play with my Elizabeth Craft Berry Branch die that I have been eyeing off for ages and the Altenew 3D Perfect Poinsettias Embossing folder.  I think I must have bought the last one, but I know there are still heaps of these 3D embossing folders to pre-order in the shop.  The Altenew folders definitely produce a beautiful 3D effect.  I have also used some Mini Envelopes.

Love Combining my Digital Stash

I hope the digital artists I buy from don't mind me combining their images and drawings because I love coming up with ideas to merge them together on a card.

 I found a great image in my Gecko Galz images - Gene Kelly and Judy Garland.  I then decided to put a frame around them. Gene and Judy are part of the 2022 Kit Club - February (Vintage Love Kit 2).  The frame is part of the Vintage Frames Craft Kit.

 I used a 6" square card and some white wash woodwork designer paper.  I also knew I had a SheepSki Designs image  Daisy Panel that would go perfectly with this scene and of course a few daisies from my stash.

Morgan's ArtWorld July 2022 Blog Challenge




 This month's blog challenge is "Anything Goes".  I have created a birthday using Flower Butterfly Border Greyscale and Butterflies 2.


I changed the colour of the Flower Butterfly Border to green and then dusted it with some old green eye shadow. I mounted Butterflies 2 on mounting tape and added butterflies from Gecko Galz.  All images are coloured with pencils.

SheepSki Designs July Blog Challenge

 Our July Blog Challenge optional theme is "Christmas in July".  I used a square white card base and a SU designer sheet from a 6 x 6 pad, a tree brad, a bauble from Scrapmatts and the envelopes are from Bizzy Bec's. I have coloured the snow with a Posca Pen and added a Wink of Stella here and there.

Of course, the image is "Christmas Post Box" from SheepSki Designs.  It is coloured with pencils.
