Cute as a Button Progressive Challenge June 2021

Here is my entry this month.

I have coloured the bride with coloured pencils, with some white pen and wink of stella clear on the veil.  I have also embossed the front of the card base.  The bride and the sentiment have been lifted with some foam tape and some lace was added to hide the shortfall of the embossing folder.  A simple card for maybe a personal gift for a bride.

Never More Designs Gothic Image challenge

 June's image had me stumped a little, all I could relate this image to was death and 4 women crying over someone, so I came up with this ATC, a little weird, buy hey isn't Gothic like that.

I have also used a Gecko Galz Charming Words Quote.  I guess the evil thoughts these ladies had about their lover when they found out he was cheating on each one of them came true.  Do you think they had something to do with his demise?

Crazy Birds

Tim Holtz Crazy Birds stamps have been around for ages now, but they never date. and are always a favourite with stampers.

For my inspiration this month I have created a birthday card with these birds.

Slimline card

 I coloured the birds with coloured pencils.  After I coloured them, I immediately started fussy cutting, until I realised I had the co-ordinating dies.  I must say I felt I got a better result with my own cutting.  I need to practise more with the dies lol.

SheepSki Designs Blog Challenge for June 2021

 Our optional theme this month is "Layer It Up".  For my inspiration this month I am using Unicorn.

I have used a mixture of gold, silver and rose gold to put this layered card together.  I hope you like it and can join in our June Blog Challenge.  It is fun putting layered cards together.  Sometimes I have no idea where I am going with it, but it all comes together in the end - I hope!

Morgan's Artworld June 2021 Blog Challenge

Challenge #6 and  as always "Anything Goes" and this month for inspiration I have used "Ariane Frame Cameo" on a birthday card.  I had just started to put this card together when a friend asked me if I had a daughter birthday card on hand.  I told her I would look at my card stash and then I remembered "Ariane".  I was quite pleased with the way she was coming together so all I did was add the word "daughter" to one of my card embellishments and sent her a photo.

She said "Yes please" and the next time I saw her I gifted it to her.

I have used the Kaisercraft 6.5 x6.5 designer paper range for the background paper, but I put some beige netting under the square.  The card base is beige too, but you might see the netting sticking out.  The netting is out of my stash and is probably ages old but I am so happy I have started using it at last.    The Kaisercraft range is "Treasured Moments" but I am not sure if it still available.  I have used some of the sentiments in the paper pack as well as some die cuts from the collectibles pack.
