I love making inspirational cards. I guess you can use them for anything by making mention of the occasion inside the card

Our Facebook Group challenge this month has a theme of "Flower Power". For my inspiration I have used "Fuchsias" with some inspirational quotes referring to the garden. I have used a white card base, red paper for matting and the chipboard word Cherish. I have had that word in my stash for years. It's all about getting through your stash ... well it is for me anyhow
I have been away too long from this challenge, so I decided to purchase the April progressive image from Bugaboo Stamps and get back into the game. I have made a simple Easter card on white pearl square card, pink paper matting for the image which was printed on a square of Whimsy Stamps digital Easter papers. The Bugaboo image is BUGBRATSEASTER01.

Here is my inspiration for the April Blog Challenge at Bizzy Bec's. Of course, our blog challenges are always "Anything Goes"
This month I have used Baby Koko & Ladybug, a new digital stamp in the store.
I love Koko and there are quite a few digital stamps to choose from featuring him - 8 in fact including the one I am using.
Products used:
square pearlised card; 1 designer paper from BoBunny Enchanted Collection; white paper doily; Cuttlebug Embossing folder Happy Birthday on red cardstock; a crochet flower and grey heart flair from my stash, as well as sentiments punched from punches; "Irrelephant" sentiment Google search.
I hope you like Koko as much as I do and will check out his digital images in the store right now. They are very reasonably priced.
The April Blog Challenge goes until the end of the month so plenty of time to join in the fun and maybe be a winner in the process.

We could not change the Saturday "Anything Goes" Challenge with our new format, so here is my inspiration. The Saturday Challenge is still over at Catch the Bug Blog Challenge. You may notice a bit of a spruce up to our banner and new tabs to click onto to get to the challenges and the Friday Freebie posts. I have decided to use "Anything Goes" to make another Christmas card. You can never have too many Christmas cards on hand. I am using AKV Reindeer - Skate and here it is:
I try (and I emphasise the word TRY) to keep a stash of odd pieces of Christmas paper separate to my other pieces and the background over the white glitter square is a combination of these. The image is matted with lime green paper and the glitter baubles from my stash. I also have pre-made Christmas sentiments punched out as well in my Christmas stash. I just keep them in a round Roses Chocolate tin and if it gets too full I will make a rush of cards lol.

Here is my inspiration for AKV Baseball. I decided to make another memorydex card for my collection. Even though this sentiment is based on baseball it is still inspirational for any facet of life.
April's SheepSki Designs Blog Challenge has an optional theme "Animal Magic". For the animal part of my card I have used Lil Chicks with the addition of the male gnome from Giant Mushroom by doing some creative cropping. I was so pleased with the merge I decided to make an anniversary card and looked for an appropriate quote on Google. Sometimes it takes a little searching, but I always seem to find one to suit my scene. The designer paper background is a half sheet of Kaisercraft 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" Wandering Ivy.
