How did we know ...

it would be our last release with the wonderful Sandra Caldwell.  She was an artist, she was our boss and we adored her!  I still can't believe we lost our dear Sandra so suddenly.  Sandra was a true friend who was always there if you needed her.  I will miss our Messenger convos.  It is still so raw I can't think of anything to say.  Each day since hearing the terrible news I have spend some quiet time just thinking of her and her talent.  

I guess it will only be a matter of time before the Etsy shop will close, so I urge you to grab the digis you want as a memory of this beautiful lady's talent.

 Unfortunately this release will never make it to the Etsy shop.  Sandra puts it in the Etsy shop on a Friday depending on what's going on for the day, like an appointment at her hairdressers.

 This image was to be #3849 Bunny and Me.  Treasure what you have of Sandra's images.  There will be no more.

 I have no more words I can add at this time, but I will leave you with 2 ATCs I made in honour of Sandra.  I just wish she could tell me BRAVO! JUST ONE MORE TIME.  

Dear Lady,  All your past and present DTs love you.  Say Hello to Frances and Denise for us.  You three ladies have left a hole in the digital stamp world that will never be filled.

Now I have to find the strength to write a message for your funeral, maybe my ATCs will say it for me if I can upload them.

Beccy's Place March Blog Challenge

 This month I decided to work with the March Challenge freebie.  My grand-daughter, Isla-May is celebrating her 7th birthday and this image was very fitting for her card, as she is still waiting for her two front teeth to come down.  They have both broke the surface so hopefully they won't be too long.  Her Mum surprised her with her very own pet yesterday - not that they don't have enough lol.  It is a black and white floppy-eared bunny who she called Thumper.  It is a little girl.

I have used a sentiment from Strawberry Patch, an old Beccy's Place set  and a coloured image of chocolate strawberries from last month's Beccy freebie. The coloured strawberries and Toothless are mounted with foam tape.

Bizzy Bec's Digital Stamps

 Bizzy Becs has added some new digital stamps to the shop.

They are gorgeous and so easy to colour and work with.  Today I have created 3 CAS cards using some of the newbies.  I hope you had a chance to grab the Peony 2022 freebie set which was available in the shop for a limited time.  The papers and sentiments come in very handy for a quick card.

Today as well I am showcasing the new Magnolia stamp.  I have made a slimline base with  left over from a rectangle die I cut out, then I coloured the magnolia and cherry blossom with pencils and raised the digi with foam tape.  I added a chipboard sentiment painted with a Posca pen and 3 small resin hearts.

Sandra Caldwell March Release

 The theme for this release is Easter and St Patrick's Day.  Here is my inspiration using #3547 Lucky Lil Girl.

I have used shimmer pens on the hair and shamrock, pencils for the skin and glitter ball-point pens here and there.  Don't forget for the first 24 hours of release, Sandra discounts them, so I will be in the Etsy shop to grab the other new images.  Why don't you join me?

Bizzy Bec's March 2022 "Anything Goes" Blog Challenge

 This month I decided to play with some more of the Miss Cherry Martini girls.  I have been making a few sets of ATCs lately so I thought I would make some with these digi stamps.  The trouble with ATCs is you have to be able to colour small.  I hope you like my attempt at this.
