 The theme for this month's Blog Challenge is "Sea of Dreams".  For my project I have made a junk journal and incorporated some of the pages I entered in the Facebook Challenges.  However for this challenge, I have showcased the whole journal.

Ching-Chou Kuik Facebook Challenge - Embossing

 For this challenge I chose to work with "Beloved Sunshine".  I loved this image as soon as I saw it.  I have used Prismacolors to colour.  I printed the darker one and added the girl with some of the sunflowers over the top with foam tape. As a background to the image I have used an embossing folder (spots) lightly sanded.

Outlawz Challenges - July Progressive

 Thank you to Fabrika Fantasy for this month's image "Red Panda" which you will find in the "Animal Kingdom" colouring book along with another 14 animal pages.  I do actually own this book so it was no surprise when Dmitry chose to give us the best one in the book.  I love red pandas.  I have a photo mounted in my lounge room with a red panda from the Australian Zoo owned by the Irwins.  I also have a 12 year old grand-daughter is loves them too.  She went to Symbio Wildlife Park at Stanwell Tops and spent some time in their cage with them.  It was so special for me to see her with them.  This image I have coloured for her and when we get out of lockdown I hope to give it to her.

I have used carious colouring mediums on this, could not think one so I used many - basic pencils, Prismacolor Pencils, Green pen and gold glitter pen.  I hope you can see it properly as the glass on the frame could be causing some shine.

Mac's Birthday card

 This is a special birthday card for my grandson, Mac.  It has arrived in the mail and my daughter is hanging onto it till Friday when he turns 11.  I do hope he likes it and the sentiments that came with the set are perfect to boost him at the moment.  It has been a tough year for Mac.  I am hoping he will keep it on display in his room to remind him to be happy even when he doesn't feel like it.

Thank you to Beccy for the W-fold tutorial.  It is probably the first time I have attempted one of the folds as soon as she showcases it.  Our Mac has always liked tortoises and turtles.  He even did a speech a couple of years ago at school on the differences between both.  He also loves scooters at the moment and is getting a new one for his birthday.

The Slow Lane digital stamp set - I have used varying sizes of the images both pre-coloured and my own colouring, and the sentiments.  I have used Kaisercraft Basecoat designer paper for the backgrounds.  The third photo is where I wrote our birthday sentiment to Mac and I even put a turtle on the envelope and guess what my daughter told me this morning it was still in tact when it arrived at her house.  We would love to see him for his first birthday without his Dad but lockdown is still on, so that is not possible at the moment.

Fripperies & Butterflies Blog Image Challenge

 This is the card I made for the July challenge using the suggested colours - pink, brown and blue.  I have used Birdhouse with Vines which I coloured with the selected colours in pencil.  I added 2 of the coloured Fairy Wrens from Superb Fairy Wren available in the store.

Bizzy Bec's Inspiration

 Today I would like to show you some more of the fantastic flower digital images in the Store.  This time I am working with Cosmos Trio and Peony Single.  

If you are like me, occasionally it is good to have a break from making cards over and over again. 

I am getting into junk journals and I decided to add these flower images to a Secret Garden junk journal I am creating.  I will incorporate flower and fairy images into the pages of the journal.  Of course it is a WIP creation so who knows how long it will take!

I have layered the three flower images onto the page, using foam tape where required.  The pages I purchased from Junk Journal & Papercraft Printables by TheJournalBoat on Etsy

 Another great image to work with over at Gecko Galz Blog Image Challenge.  Thank you so much. This month I decided to get a bit more creative and make a wine related pocket.  As soon as I saw the grapes, I knew my theme had to be wine lol.  Maybe I will create a junk journal and incorporate this pocket.  I have so many junk journals on the list.

I found some quotes in my digital stash as well as wine labels, not that I collect everything wine related, even though it looks like it!

Morgan's ArtWorld July 2021 Blog Challenge

 Welcome to the July challenge #7 at Morgan's Artworld.  As always our Challenges are "Anything Goes".  All challenge rules can be read here.

For my inspiration I have decided to NOT make a card.  If you are like me, you have heaps and heaps of cards that you have made and sometimes you get the inclination to do something different.  Lately I have been buying some digital junk journal kits from various suppliers on Etsy and when I saw "Baby Love" I knew this image just had to be part of my Dragons Journal.

I am thinking some of my digital images will be a great addition for these junk journals.  Here is my inspiration.

I have used coloured pencils to colour the two images and the Junk Journal page is part of Vectoria Designs digital Dragons Junk Journal.

This will be a double page in the junk journal;  not sure how it will look finished yet, but I know I will be doing more pages in the future which will include Morgan's ArtWorld dragons.  I did a search for dragons in the shop and found more I can use.  For this inspiration I also used one of the Dragon Babies which I could not resist buying when I was putting this project together - they are so cute.  Don't forget when you are looking in the shop, check out Sherry's Pick of the Week  and look for the discount code to save on her faves.

SheepSki Designs July 2021 Blog Challenge

The optional twist for July is "Celebrations".  I decided to work with the new SheepSki Designs digital image "Party Shoes".

I have used a white card base and designer paper from my stash.  I found a door in my digi collection and coloured the door and Party Shoes with coloured pencils, a scrap of red ribbon for a shawl and a quote and there you have it a little bit saucy birthday card.
