Our optional theme this month is "Layer It Up". For my inspiration this month I am using Unicorn.
I have used a mixture of gold, silver and rose gold to put this layered card together. I hope you like it and can join in our June Blog Challenge. It is fun putting layered cards together. Sometimes I have no idea where I am going with it, but it all comes together in the end - I hope!
As you can see I have also decorated the inside of the card. Now get cracking and start on your layered card for the Challenge. You do have a month, but get your entry in as soon as you can so you don't forget.
All my followers can grab a discount at the SheepSki Designs Etsy shop by using this code.

Challenge #6 and as always "Anything Goes" and this month for inspiration I have used "Ariane Frame Cameo" on a birthday card. I had just started to put this card together when a friend asked me if I had a daughter birthday card on hand. I told her I would look at my card stash and then I remembered "Ariane". I was quite pleased with the way she was coming together so all I did was add the word "daughter" to one of my card embellishments and sent her a photo.
She said "Yes please" and the next time I saw her I gifted it to her.
I have used the Kaisercraft 6.5 x6.5 designer paper range for the background paper, but I put some beige netting under the square. The card base is beige too, but you might see the netting sticking out. The netting is out of my stash and is probably ages old but I am so happy I have started using it at last. The Kaisercraft range is "Treasured Moments" but I am not sure if it still available. I have used some of the sentiments in the paper pack as well as some die cuts from the collectibles pack.
Don't forget to check out Sherry's Pick of the Week as well when you are on the shop website as there is a 20% discount code to use on her picks and there are some really good ones there this month.
Our June challenge will be over on the Blog so please join us this month. I would love to see you there!

May's image was a beautiful black and white photo of a Mum and her two girls. I racked my brain on how I would present this and last week it came to me.
Lately I have been enjoying making junk journals and recently I bought a mystery pack of goodies from Donna at Believecottagecraft and there was some sheets of ledger paper in the paper pack. I made up a mixture of black tea and sprayed here and there, added a bit of coffee to it after the tea sprays. I even smeared some turmeric on one of them.
When I printed out the image the first word that came to mind was "family". That's it - a key words Collage journal and I can add to it at a later date. Here is my creation for the Family page.
May's theme for our SheepSki Designs Facebook Group Challenge is "Girlz Rule". For my inspiration I have made a 70th birthday card for a dear friend using 50's Chic. Hope you are inspired to join in the fun in our Facebook Group.
Gee I am really adding to my 2021 stash of Christmas cards. This time I am using another digital image from Bizzy Bec's - no not Koko, it's Frogger this time. This is Frogger on Bauble.
Don't forget we still have our May "Anything Goes" Blog Challenge running until the end of the month.
Also remember I told you Bizzy Bec's has had a revamp of the Store, check it out now! You will be presently surprised. I would love you to follow the Bizzy Bec Blog too.
See you next time,

I could not believe it when I saw the May image for the Gothic Challenge. I had only just been to a performance of Macbeth 2021 at our local theatre and as soon as I saw the image I knew what to do with it.
Eight of us attend the theatre each time there is a new performance on: we usually buy season tickets but they weren't issued this year because of Covid. When we saw Macbeth was the next one playing we still did not hesitate to book. We love supporting this quality community theatre in South-West Sydney, only a suburb away from where I live.
The Town Hall Theatre is a treasured historic building. Located on the southern end of Queen Street and only a short walk from the Arts Centre precinct. The Campbelltown Theatre Group have been using the theatre since 1980. Wowing audiences with multiple sell-out productions every year.
The current Town Hall Theatre occupies two heritage buildings. The north side building was the original Town Hall, while the adjoining building was the original Fire Station. The "Sons of Temperance” built the original Town Hall in 1862. A few years later, in 1884, it was bought by Campbelltown Council for the sum of £800. The Town Hall was abuzz in the early 1900s when it was hired to screen silent movies in the evenings.
Visitors beware, did you know the theatre is haunted by Fred Fisher's ghost? Fred's demise in 1826 has been made famous through the Legend of Fisher’s Ghost stories. George Worrall was executed for the murder of Fred Fisher. George rented the land on which these buildings stand. Frederick Fisher was living in Mr Worrell’s house at the time of his murder. Learn more about the legend on a Fisher's Ghost Investigation Ghost Tour.

My inspiration this month is ... you guessed it another cute Koko image. I told you I was obsessed. This month I have worked with "Koko with Top Hat".
I decided to decorate the inside of the card just a little.
I hope I have inspired you enough to join our May Blog Challenge. See you there!

This month's theme is "Floral Dance". I have created a simple Anniversary card however I think the merging of two SheepSki Designs has made the simplicity work well. I hope you like this month's inspiration for the Blog Challenge.
Images used: Floral Heart and Tango and have coloured them with everyday coloured pencils. The sentiments are from Beccy's Place.
I hope you join this month's SheepSki Designs Blog Challenge, see you there and don't forget to use my followers" discount in the shop.

I just love this little chimpanzee, I could not resist purchasing. It is one of my inspirations for May for Morgan's Artworld.
For this card I have used a kraft card and brown cardstock. I used the same brown for matting for the little chimp plus some gold paper. The ribbon lace was purchased from K-mart recently. Around the border of Little Chimp I doodled some little dashes and found the sentiment searching for monkey birthday quotes. I am still using my basic pencils for all the colouring.
Little Chimp is available on the Creative Art Design Studio shop and don't forget to check out Sherry's Pick of the Week. On this page you will find a discount code of 20% off some of Sherry's favourites.
Don't forget our challenges here.
See you next time,
Gail
This Saturday's Blog Challenge is Anything Goes. Today I am showing you a gift card I made for my Christmas card. It is a small kraft card with a matching envelope (not shown). I am using Christmas Cat one of my favourite images and easy and quick to colour with whatever you want to use. I have used everyday pencils again. On top of the kraft card I glued a red piece of paper and then used some scraps of Christmas design paper to make the background. It is a great idea for using up scraps.
Have you started making some Christmas cards and tags yet?
